Cindy is a Staff Attorney with the Community Immigration Program (CIP). She was born and raised in Laredo, TX to a Mexican mother and Chinese father. Cindy graduated from Boston University in 2018 and received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in May 2023. She took the Texas Bar in July 2023 and was recently licensed to practice in the State of Texas in December 2023. While at Suffolk, she interned at various public interest organizations and was part of the Immigration Clinic in her third year. Due to her upbringing in a border town and being raised by immigrants herself, Cindy has a strong passion in advocating for and helping clients navigate the complex immigration process. Cindy is fluent in Spanish, English, and hopefully in the near future, Mandarin Chinese.
